HOI HUP-SUNWAY WINS COMPETITIVE BID FOR TENGAH PLANTATION CLOSE EXECUTIVE CONDOMINIUM SITE

Singapore Sept 12 – A joint venture entity between Hoi Hup Realty Pte Ltd and Sunway Development Pte Ltd has won the competitive bid for an Executive Condominium (EC) site at Tengah Plantation Close in Tengah New Town.

Tengah is envisioned as a model futuristic new town for smart and sustainable living. According to URA West Region Masterplan, residents will enjoy easy access to quality amenities, generous green spaces and dedicated gardening and farming spaces. A major feature is the 100m-wide, 5km-long Forest Corridor, forming part of a larger ecological pathway connecting the Western and Central Catchment Areas.

The site area of the subject site is 16,441.2sqm with a maximum permissible gross floor area of 46,036sqm. This 99-year leasehold site in Tengah Plantation Close is located 5 mins from the upcoming Tengah Park MRT station on the Jurong Regional Line and near to schools such as ACS (Primary) and Princess Elizabeth Pri School. The site is also near to well-known areas such as the Jurong Regional Centre and the Jurong Lake District that boost landmarks such as Jem & Westgate malls, upcoming Jurong Lake District White Site Commercial Development, Jurong Lake Gardens and the future Singapore Science Centre. In addition, the site is near to the upcoming Jurong Innovation District where JTC aims to locate the next generation high-tech, cutting-edge digital tech and manufacturing business and community.

The JV entity won the tender using an alternative bid that utilise a hybrid of technologies assessed by BCA to be able to yield substantial productivity improvements.
